Susan Vance established the first My Favorite Shoes in September of 2003. She has always had a passion for shoes. After working retail for numerous years, she decided to open her own shoe business. The first My Favorite Shoes was located in a very confined space of 1000 sq. ft. building just off the Square in Oxford, MS. It is definitely a "Shoe Haven" for shoe lovers.

In August of 2011, Susan opened her second store back on the Historic Square in Oxford Mississippi. In 2012, after many requests, she moved forward by opening an online store, myfavoriteshoesonline.com.

With great pride, hard work, and our satisfied customers, My Favorite Shoes has been voted Oxford's favorite shoe store for seven years in a row, Mississippi?s favorite shoe store by readers of Mississippi Magazine over the past 4 years, and Best of Oxford throughout the past 3 years by the readers of The Oxford Eagle. Susan's hands on, personal approach, and dedicated employees are the keys to her success.
